Follow Up Lactation Consultation

This session offers ongoing support to help you stay on track with your feeding goals as things evolve.
We can:

Review progress since your initial consult

Reassess latch, positioning, and feeding

Adjust plans for supply, nipple pain, or other concerns
Ideal if you’re needing continued support or a check-in as your feeding journey unfolds.

Antenatal Lactation Consultation
60 minutes | Clinic visit
This session is a great way to meet and prepare your baby arrives.
We’ll chat through your feeding goals, your previous breastfeeding experience and create a plan that feels right for you. If this is your first time breastfeeding, I recommend attending the Breastfeeding Ready workshop too.
Perfect for expectant parents who’d like to feel informed, confident, and supported heading into their feeding journey.

Breastfeeding Ready Workshop
2.5 hour session group or one-on-one
A practical, supportive session to help you feel prepared and confident before baby arrives. Recommended for first time parents.
We’ll cover:

What to expect in the early days of breastfeeding
-
Hunger cues, feeding patterns, and newborn behaviour
-
Attachment, positioning, and signs baby is getting enough
-
Partner support and where to get help if needed
Cost: $180/couple(group workshop)
$490 (one-on-one home visit)
Fees & Medicare Rebates
All services with The Latch Lady are privately billed and payable on the day of your appointment.
As an Endorsed Midwife, I’m able to offer Medicare rebates for eligible antenatal and postnatal services provided during pregnancy and up to 6 weeks postpartum. Where Medicare rebates apply, your appointment is paid in full on the day to The Latch Lady and any eligible rebate is processed afterwards and paid directly to you by Medicare.
Medicare rebates are not available outside of this timeframe, however support is still very welcome and available privately.
Please note:
A valid Medicare card is required for medicare rebates. Services are not bulk billed.
